Sustainable Facility Practices

Our state-of-the-art facility is designed with sustainability in mind. From energy-efficient HVAC systems with heat recovery to motion sensor lighting and LED upgrades, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint while maintaining a high-performance environment.

We’ve also made significant upgrades to several core building utilities to improve energy efficiency and reduce resource consumption. This includes the installation of high-efficiency hot water systems, boilers, air compressors, a building-wide vacuum system, and enhancements to overall building insulation and air systems. These improvements not only reduce energy usage but also enhance operational reliability and environmental performance.
We use recycled building materials, neutralize wastewater on-site, and integrate carbon-neutral Joan devices to further support our mission of responsible environmental stewardship.

Recycling & Waste Management

We make recycling second nature. With visible signage and employee engagement, we’ve established robust programs to recycle paper, printer cartridges, glass, and plastics. Our wastewater neutralization system further ensures we reduce our impact on local water resources.

PsychoGenics also takes a proactive approach to electronics recycling and upcycling. Outdated or unused electronic devices are responsibly recycled through certified e-waste programs or refurbished and donated to educational or community-based organizations whenever possible. This ensures valuable components are repurposed, minimizing landfill waste and supporting digital access for underserved groups.

Community Engagement & Volunteerism

We believe in giving back. PsychoGenics proudly supports the Paramus Community Pantry with donations and volunteer time, and we encourage our team to make a difference with one paid Volunteer Day each year. Our employees are actively engaged in supporting causes related to education, veterans, environmental conservation, disability advocacy, and STEM initiatives.
